I wanted to talk about this today because it is something I see A LOT!
So many new clients come to me with the notion that they have to give up their favorite foods that have dairy in them. Yes girl, I'm talking about yogurt, ice cream, and cottage cheese!
But guess what? Going dairy free may be helpful for some of you but for the majority of you, this is not true and there is absolutely no reason to cut it out!
Some women find reducing or avoiding dairy can help clear up their acne by lowering THEIR inflammation and can help with weight loss. This is because THEIR body is sensitive to dairy.
If you are curious or unsure if you can benefit from it, you may want to consider trying out a dairy free diet and see if anything changes for you.
But I want to ask you something, do you think it is the dairy that is making you feel better or is it the fact that you are greatly reducing processed foods as a whole?
If you’ve tried it and you did not notice any changes, I suggest keeping dairy in your diet. It can be an amazing addition to a healthy diet, a wonderful source of animal protein and helping to absorb fat soluble vitamins for healthy hormones.
Full fat dairy is what I always suggest to my clients.
Why?
The fat in full fat dairy helps to balance our blood sugar, keeps us fuller for longer and helps to absorb very important fat soluble vitamins!
This is especially essential for your general hormone health and your fertility!
Want to know my favorite way to add full fat dairy to my diet?
For breakfast I love creating a delicious and filling bowl that consists of organic full fat Greek yogurt topped with ground flaxseed, chia seeds, berries, a sprinkle of granola and some almond butter!
Talk soon girl! xoxo
